K2X Appoints Serial Technology Entrepreneur Amit Vohra, Ph.D., to Board of Directors

Serial founder and CEO brings decades of experience commercializing breakthrough technologies and scaling early-stage companies.

Los Altos, California — July 15, 2026 — K2X Technology & Life Science, Inc. (“K2X” or the “Company”) today announced the appointment of Amit Vohra, Ph.D., to its Board of Directors. Dr. Vohra succeeds Mike Baghramian, who stepped down from the Board for personal reasons.

Dr. Vohra is a serial founder and chief executive with a track record of bringing breakthrough technology to market. He is Founder, President and CEO of Promaxo, a developer of compact, office-based MRI and robotic systems, and Founder and CEO of neuro42, which develops portable MRI and robotics for neurological imaging and interventions. Together, these companies are expanding access to advanced imaging technologies that have traditionally been limited to large hospital settings. He is also co-founder and director of 8chili Inc. and a director of Navaux, Inc.

Dr. Vohra has developed a repeatable approach to building disruptive technology companies—from identifying breakthrough innovations and assembling exceptional teams to navigating complex regulatory pathways and commercializing new products. These capabilities translate across industries and align closely with K2X’s investment strategy. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and an Executive MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

“Amit brings the operating discipline and scientific judgment that will serve K2X’s Board well as the Company grows,” said Paul M. Russo, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer of K2X. “He has repeatedly built breakthrough technology companies from the ground up and understands how to transform scientific innovation into commercially successful businesses. His experience building and scaling disruptive companies is sector-agnostic, and it strengthens our Board as we broaden the technology and deep-tech side of the portfolio.”

“We also thank Mike Baghramian for his service and counsel during an important period for K2X, and we wish him the very best,” Dr. Russo added.

“K2X has built a distinctive and disciplined approach to early-stage investing,” said Dr. Vohra. “I am excited to join the Board and look forward to contributing to the Company’s next phase of growth.”
